Hidden Objects is a series of developed patterns that depict and challenge cultural stereotypes of womanhood while utilizing traditional forms from domestic textiles from the 19th century and hidden everyday objects associated with cultural stereotypes of womanhood such as dishes, cleaning gloves, and razors. The work draws attention to conventions of gender which still lie in the commonplace and is deeply rooted in domestic spaces.
