The Art Center Highland Park is rounding out a year of focusing on women in their exhibit schedule, highlighting women as curators, featured artists, and guest jurors. Their final call for 2023 examines the phrases ‘women’s work’ and ‘You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby’ to raise the terms more as a question …have we come a long way at all? The Lake City ArtFields Collective's annual event, ArtFields, turns the town into a gallery as local businesses display hundreds of artworks from the region. I am honored to be exhibiting at the R.O.B. The Ragsdale Old Building was once a tobacco warehouse and charcoal briquette factory which has been outfitted to host ArtFields and community events in Lake City.
